Trash Free Seas: ICC 2021: Connect and Collect

International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) is held every September in more than 100 countries around the world and is typically the world’s largest cleanup of marine debris and debris from the ocean and waterways.

Working with volunteer organizations and individuals around the world, the Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup™ engages people to clean up litter from beaches and waterways, identify sources of litter, and change behavior.

International Coastal Cleanup Day became a regular occurrence over 30 years ago. It was founded by Linda Maraniss and Cathy O’Hara, both of whom came in handy to the Ocean Conservancy, a nonprofit environmental agency that specializes in enacting federal and state government ordinances and policies.

It is often necessary to successfully connect the swd debugger to almost any board.

We found the Black Magic Probe to be good in terms of performance,
for various microcontrollers and does not require openocd.
You have the option of using their well-made material, perhaps stitching an existing one.
Board with firmware Magic.
People also often use ST Link v2 clones specifically for STM chips.

Somehow you can connect the SWDIO and SWCLK collections
microcontroller debugger.
Often some of these are connected to test pins to make soldering easier.
Sometimes there is a standard 0.05 inch ARM connector with 10 codes,
However, for debugging, the ideal part must be soldered to our board.
Otherwise, people use an effects circuit board to which they add comotherfucking scheme.
special (and expensive) connecting cable.

Here we offer two simple and inexpensive solutions that require absolutely no soldering.
and costs 8 circuit boards.

The idea is to use this standard 2×5 pin 0.05″ ARM Cortex IDC debug header.
and connect the 0.05″ connector (you can also use the 0.05″ IDC connector,
but they are harder to find).
We then drill holes in the 22 mil board with standard 50 mil pin spacing but 62 mil row spacing.
The male pins go into the holes. Limited

What is the International Coastal Cleanup?

The International Coastal Cleanup (ICC), which takes place every September in more than 100 countries around the world, can be described as the world’s largest effort to clean up marine debris from oceans and waterways. With the Ocean Conservancy Clean Swell® app, newlyweds collect data on their likelihood of finding trash.

The community (where the plastic in the header points to the PCB) only reports 5 x 3mm,
and is usually further reduced, and the plug is also placed in the slot on the PCB.
Also, do not place ingredients more than 2mm away from the cork itself.
(most minor cuts) Passive.
We rely on the following white pinout:

What does the Ocean Conservancy do?

Ocean Conservancy works within you to protect the oceans caused by today’s biggest global challenges. Together, I personally develop scientifically based solutions for a balanced ocean, wildlife and the homes that depend on it.

The stripe on the silk indicates the negative side of the PCB where the connector should be inserted,
and also determines the side where the red wire with the ribboncable.
Please note that in this situation it is impossible to connect them incorrectly.
PCB design software libraries will be available
in the GitHub repository.
There is currently another one for EagleCAD.

Pins 1-4 can match the Cortex connector.
Unfortunately, Cortex places the nRESET connector line on subject 10, a strategic pin.
Instead, we use 5 pins for the RESET (i.e. GND on the connector) of the Cortex.
You will need a special cable for this.

Who started International Coastal Cleanup?

History of the ICC
The movement was fully stimulated by the passion and spirit of a two-person man. In 1986, Linda Maraniss moved to Texas from Washington DC, where she worked for the Ocean Conservancy.

If your debugger does not have a Cortex connector (or the monumental 20-pin 100 mil connector),
They will definitely make a drop cable.
If your debugger supports a 10-pin Cortex connector, owners can connect using a Cortex cable.
Pin 5 – Pin 10.

Is ocean a global Conservancy?

Today, the Ocean Conservancy is working with many volunteers of all ages from around the world on this Hypereer coast cleanup that we’ve been working on for over 30 years.

You may need a 10-pin cable.
mil double row pin connector, diaper cutter, wire strippers, electrical tape,
and glue.

Cut each IDC cable in half.
You will probably struggle halfway with the notch all around (also see image above with attached ready-made cable).
Separate the original 5 wires and count from red to pole number 1.

How does the Ocean Conservancy clean the ocean?

The International Coastal Cleanup ™
Working with volunteer associations and individuals around the world, Ocean Conservancy International engages the Coastal Cleanup ™ families to remove debris from beaches and waterways around the world, identify sources of dirt, and change behavior.

Remove the insulation from the other side of the tap and connect the wires at an angle.
The image above shows the pinout.

Wrap electrical tape (insulation) around each stranded wire,
then twist all the wires together,
Then bend one of the cables 180 degrees and wrap the brace around it.

Cortical Cable

You are using a 10-pin IDC cable,
connect 250 mil double row header, utility knife, wire strippers, epoxy tape,
as well as. Pliers are also useful.

Cut wires 6 to 10 from the cable (this is actually half of the cable; the red wire is often numbered 1),
about 50mm from our own debug side of the cable
(with a step inside).
You don’t have to be careful to trim the thread count 5 here.

If you don’t need to run a reset wire, you can just connect 5-10,
and go directly to the target end section.

Connect wires 6-10 almost to the debugger connector.
Thendisconnect wire #10 May.
It may happen that the insulation wears out. Do not worry.
Then cut wire number 5 by 10mm from the debugger connector.
So make it unique.

Remove the insulation (if any) from cables and wires 5 and 10.
Roll them together.
Wrap everything with electrical tape.

End Target

This part of the cable often breaks and the bark of the cable,
and describes how to prepare the end of the cable connection that is included with the target board.

Cut 3 double rows from a 50 mil header.
They can help you cut 4 rows and remove individual pins.
(Excess plastic often breaks off at the pin limit).
Then remove moveable pin #6. If you are holding a certain header with the long side
(which may well fit into the IDC connector) on the ground, the one on the far right, the closest one that will help you.
Finally, remove the excess plastic.

Now paste the general header into the connector and align the left side with the red beat.
There should be 3 pins on the path of the outer edge 2 and on its inner side.
You can thoroughly test your cable ahead of time – probably the glue from the connector I got inside.
PCB, if you are drawing a cable, why do we stick.
After testing, remove the new header slightly (about 1 mm).
Put that drop of glue into space
then put the connector back in place.
Let the handful dry (if not dry, it will stick to the board for a few minutes!).

Who is Linda Maraniss?

In Austin, on the grounds of this director of the first regional office of the Marine Conservation Center, she performed the first coastal cleanup in Texas. In 3 years, 3,000 volunteers removed 124 pieces of debris from a 192 mile long coastline. This overwhelming success has led to additional government regulations and programs such as Adopt-a-Beach.
